Research focuses on the design, fabrication and characterization of devices for converting a primary energy (concentrated solar, thermal from industrial processes, electrical) into thermal energy, radiated for conversion (thermophotovoltaic, thermophotonic, thermoradiative, by rectennas, etc.) into electrical energy.

Research theme

The research theme addressed by the project-team is the conversion of thermal energy, available in radiative form, into electrical energy.
